María Dolores Agüero Lara Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Honduras
Maria Dolores Agüero Lara has a minor degree in Law and Social Sciences with specialization in International Law from the National Autonomous University of Honduras (UNAH). She has a Masters in International Law (LL.M.) in Investments, Trade and Arbitration taught at the University of Chile and the University of Heidelberg, with support from the Max Planck Institute for Comparative Public Law and the Institute of International Studies of the University of Chile.
Within the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of Honduras, she has served as Legal Adviser on Investment Promotion and Trade; member of the organizing committee of "Honduras is Open for Business" in 2011, Coordinator of the Pro Tempore Presidency of the Central American Integration System (SICA) in 2012. From the year 2012 has served as Director of Integration. Join the Diplomatic Scale in 2014. Currently he serves as Secretary of State in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of Honduras.

In the private sector she has developed her professional career as Assistant Manager of Legal Services of the Honduran Council of Private Enterprise (COHEP) and an associate member of Office López Rodeno.
Her second language is English. Her personal interests include reading, music, cooking. She is married with Felipe Antonio Young Portillo.
